Areas of Focus: Client Service Coordinator
Education & Certifications:
- ATA Medical Administration Assistance
After working for 21 years in a retail bakery as head of sales, while raising my family, I decided it’s time for a change and wanted to do something different. I enrolled in Centralia Community College, still unsure of my course. I decided to get an ATA in Medical Administration. Through my sessions over the next two years as I studied and took different classes, I found I like the and excelled at the math courses.
I landed a job in Vancouver and moved south. I worked at a Non-profit Mental Health facility, starting at the front desk, after three months a position came open in Medical Records, I applied and worked the next two years in Medical Records.
After hitting the two-year mark and gaining some experience, plus dealing with the aging parents, I decided to start looking for work closer to my family. I was doing a random job search when I came across the opening at the Business Resource Center for the Client Service Coordinator.
I applied, interviewed, and here I am. I feel so lucky to have found a suitable position for me right here in Lewis County. This job has allowed me to use a variety of skills, combined with my years of client service. I enjoy learning new things, and this position offers a wide range of learning.
