I have worked years in the accounting industry and have learned many different types of accounting software. As a single parent, I worked many part-time jobs: software support, office manager & veterinary assistant, to name a few. This allowed me to be home for my kids as needed. Once they went off to college, I joined the workforce full-time as an office manager/bookkeeper.
In my current position as an Accounting Assistant, I provide bookkeeping, quarterly returns, excise tax returns, and account reconciliation services to our clients. I also offer training to clients new to the software that we are asking them to use. When doing account reconciliations, I look at it as a puzzle to solve. When the accounts balance, the puzzle is solved!
I am very excited to be a part of the team at Business Resource Center. It is very rewarding to work as part of a team that strives to do their best for our clients.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and showing my Siberian Huskies.
